Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer is caused by persistent high-risk HPV infection and is largely preventable through vaccination and screening. Treatment ranges from radical surgery for early-stage disease to concurrent cisplatin-based chemoradiation for locally advanced disease. Pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy ± bevacizumab is now the first-line standard for persistent, recurrent, or metastatic disease, and tisotumab vedotin is approved in the second-line setting.
