Mechanism of Action

Tagraxofusp is a first-in-class CD123-targeted cytotoxin consisting of recombinant human interleukin-3 (IL-3) fused to a truncated diphtheria toxin (DT) payload (catalytic and translocation domains). CD123, the IL-3 receptor alpha subunit, is expressed at high levels on blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) cells and other hematologic malignancies.
