Randomized trial of sacituzumab govitecan versus single-agent treatment of physician's choice chemotherapy.

Population

Relapsed or refractory metastatic triple-negative breast cancer after at least two prior chemotherapies (one for metastatic disease).

Primary Endpoint

progression-free survival (PFS) in patients without brain metastases

Key Result

PFS 5.6 vs 1.7 months (HR 0.41) and overall survival 12.1 vs 6.7 months (HR 0.48) versus chemotherapy.
