Open-label randomized trial of A+AVD (brentuximab vedotin, doxorubicin, vinblastine, dacarbazine) versus standard ABVD.

Population

Previously untreated adults with stage III or IV classical Hodgkin lymphoma.

Primary Endpoint

modified progression-free survival (later overall survival at 6 years)

Key Result

6-year OS 93.9% vs 89.4% (HR 0.59); 2-year modified PFS 82.1% vs 77.2% with less pulmonary toxicity than bleomycin-containing ABVD.
