Rationale

Bone metastases from kidney cancer cause fractures and pain and respond poorly to systemic therapy alone. RadiCaL tests whether adding the bone-targeted radiopharmaceutical radium-223 to cabozantinib improves skeletal outcomes.

Could add a bone-targeted radiopharmaceutical to standard kidney cancer therapy for patients with bone metastases.
