Rationale

Aromatase inhibitors and tamoxifen remain the adjuvant endocrine backbone, but recurrences persist. CAMBRIA-1 tests whether switching to a next-generation oral SERD lowers recurrence in higher-risk early breast cancer.

Could position an oral SERD as a successor to standard adjuvant aromatase-inhibitor or tamoxifen therapy in higher-risk early ER-positive breast cancer.
