Rationale

Oral SERDs have shown activity in advanced ER-positive breast cancer, but their role in the curative adjuvant setting is unproven. lidERA tests whether giredestrant can improve on standard adjuvant endocrine monotherapy in early disease.

Could introduce a next-generation oral SERD into adjuvant therapy for early ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer.
