Mechanism of Action
A highly selective MCL-1 inhibitor designed for multiple myeloma, in which MCL-1 amplification and dependence drive plasma-cell survival. By antagonizing MCL-1's sequestration of BH3-only proteins, ABBV-467 restores BAX/BAK-mediated intrinsic apoptosis in myeloma cells.
