Mechanism of Action
This is an actinium-225-labeled humanized anti-CEA monoclonal antibody (M5A) that delivers targeted alpha-particle radiation to carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-expressing tumor cells. Alpha emissions produce dense, localized DNA damage causing cell death in CEA-positive malignancies.
