Mechanism of Action

Luxdegalutamide is an oral PROTAC (proteolysis-targeting chimera) androgen receptor degrader. It bifunctionally binds both the AR ligand-binding domain and an E3 ubiquitin ligase (cereblon), tagging AR for polyubiquitination and proteasomal degradation rather than simply antagonizing it.
