Mechanism of Action
AZD5851 is an autologous armored CAR-T cell therapy engineered to recognize glypican-3 (GPC3), an oncofetal antigen highly expressed on hepatocellular carcinoma but minimal on normal adult tissue. The construct incorporates an interleukin-driven armoring module to enhance T-cell persistence and activity within the immunosuppressive hepatic tumor microenvironment.
