Mechanism of Action
Fully human monoclonal antibody that neutralizes interleukin-8 (CXCL8/IL-8). By sequestering IL-8, it reduces recruitment of immunosuppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cells and neutrophils to the tumor and counters epithelial-mesenchymal transition, remodeling a myeloid-inflamed microenvironment to enhance checkpoint-inhibitor activity.
