Mechanism of Action
Oral, high-affinity MDM2-p53 antagonist. By disrupting the interaction between the MDM2 E3 ubiquitin ligase and the p53 tumor suppressor, brigimadlin restores p53-mediated transcription of cell-cycle-arrest and pro-apoptotic genes in TP53-wild-type, MDM2-amplified tumors such as well-differentiated and dedifferentiated liposarcoma.
