Mechanism of Action
Autologous T cells engineered with an anti-PSMA chimeric antigen receptor plus a dominant-negative TGF-beta receptor. The dominant-negative receptor renders the CAR-T cells resistant to immunosuppressive TGF-beta in the prostate tumor microenvironment, enhancing persistence and cytotoxicity against PSMA-positive cells.
