COM701 — Investigational Agent
Monoclonal Antibody · Phase 1/2 · Compugen Ltd
Mechanism of Action
Humanized monoclonal antibody targeting PVRIG (CD112R), an inhibitory checkpoint receptor on T and NK cells within the DNAM-1 (poliovirus-receptor) axis, alongside TIGIT. PVRIG binds PVRL2 (CD112); COM701 blocks this interaction to restore effector T-/NK-cell activation. Because the PVRIG-PVRL2 and TIGIT-PVR pathways are parallel and complementary, COM701 is developed with anti-TIGIT and anti-PD-1 agents for combinatorial checkpoint blockade.
