Mechanism of Action
Afucosylated humanized IgG1 anti-CCR8 monoclonal antibody designed to selectively deplete intratumoral regulatory T cells (Tregs). CCR8 is preferentially expressed on highly immunosuppressive tumor-infiltrating Tregs but minimally on peripheral Tregs or effector T cells. The afucosylated Fc enhances FcγRIIIa binding and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), driving depletion of CCR8+ Tregs within the tumor microenvironment while sparing systemic Treg populations, thereby restoring effector T-cell antitumor immunity with a potentially lower autoimmune toxicity profile than global…
