Fadraciclib — Investigational Agent
Other · Phase 1/2 · Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals
Mechanism of Action
Second-generation, selective cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) and CDK9 inhibitor. CDK9 inhibition suppresses transcription of the anti-apoptotic protein MCL1, while CDK2 inhibition disrupts cell-cycle progression and MYC-driven programs, together triggering apoptosis in leukemic and lymphoid cells dependent on these survival pathways.
