Iadademstat — Investigational Agent
Other · Phase 2 · Oryzon Genomics
Mechanism of Action
Highly potent, selective, orally active irreversible inhibitor of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1/KDM1A). By blocking LSD1 demethylase and its scaffolding role within the CoREST/GFI1 transcriptional repressor complex, iadademstat reactivates differentiation programs in leukemic blasts and downregulates stemness genes, promoting myeloid differentiation and apoptosis.
Investigational Indications
- Newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia
- Myelodysplastic syndromes
- Small cell lung cancer (separate program)
