Mechanism of Action
Ipatasertib is an oral, highly selective small-molecule ATP-competitive inhibitor of all three isoforms of AKT. By suppressing AKT kinase activity it blunts PI3K/AKT/PTEN pathway signaling that drives proliferation and endocrine resistance in breast cancer.
