Mechanism of Action
Tetra-valent bispecific antibody that simultaneously co-targets PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) and VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) within a single molecule. By combining immune checkpoint blockade (anti-PD-1) with anti-angiogenesis (anti-VEGF) in one bispecific construct, ivonescimab may provide synergistic anti-tumor activity while avoiding the additive toxicities seen when combining separate anti-PD-1 and anti-VEGF agents.
Investigational Indications
- Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) — 1st-line, PD-L1 positive
- Squamous NSCLC in combination with chemotherapy
- Hepatocellular carcinoma
- Other advanced solid tumors
