Mechanism of Action
Ladiratuzumab vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate targeting LIV-1 (SLC39A6), a zinc-transporter protein highly expressed in breast cancer. Its humanized anti-LIV-1 antibody is linked via a protease-cleavable linker to monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). After LIV-1 binding and internalization, MMAE is released to disrupt microtubules and induce apoptosis, with bystander killing and potential immunogenic cell death.
