Mechanism of Action
Lerapolturev is a genetically recombinant nonpathogenic poliovirus-rhinovirus chimera that infects tumor cells via the CD155 (poliovirus receptor) overexpressed on malignant and antigen-presenting cells. It causes direct oncolysis and triggers an inflammatory, antigen-specific anti-tumor immune response.
