Mechanism of Action
Oral, selective BH3-mimetic inhibitor of BCL-2. By binding the BH3 groove of BCL-2, it displaces pro-apoptotic proteins (BIM, BAX/BAK) to restore intrinsic mitochondrial apoptosis in BCL-2-dependent malignant cells. A daily ramp-up is designed to reduce tumor lysis syndrome risk relative to venetoclax.
Investigational Indications
- Relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia / small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL)
- Other relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancies (AML/MDS, myeloma in combinations)
