Mechanism of Action

Off-the-shelf synthetic long peptide (SLP) cancer vaccine targeting the six most common oncogenic KRAS mutations (e.g., G12D, G12V, G12R, G12C, G13D, Q61H) that drive more than 90% of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) and are present in most pancreatic precancerous lesions. The vaccine presents mutant-KRAS neoantigen peptides to the immune system to prime and expand KRAS-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses, with the goal of intercepting malignant transformation of precursor lesions (pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia, IPMN) before invasive cancer develops.
