Mechanism of Action
MTA-cooperative PRMT5 inhibitor that selectively binds the PRMT5-methylthioadenosine (MTA) complex, which accumulates in MTAP-deleted tumors; this achieves synthetic-lethal, tumor-selective PRMT5 inhibition while sparing MTAP-intact normal tissues, reducing the myelosuppression seen with first-generation PRMT5 inhibitors.
