Mechanism of Action
A fully personalized, autologous cellular immunotherapy platform. After surgical tumor resection, the patient's tumor is subjected to whole-exome and RNA sequencing to identify tumor-specific somatic mutations (neoantigens) — peptide sequences unique to the malignant clone and absent from normal tissue. Bioinformatic pipelines (HLA-binding prediction algorithms) rank candidate mutant peptides by predicted MHC class I and II affinity for the individual patient's HLA type. The top-ranked neoantigen peptides are synthesized and used to "pulse" (load onto) the patient's own dendritic cells —…
Investigational Indications
- Newly diagnosed glioblastoma (IDH-wildtype, MGMT-any) — combined with standard temozolomide chemoradiotherapy
- Recurrent glioblastoma — ongoing investigation as salvage immunotherapy
