Mechanism of Action
NKT-2152 is an orally bioavailable small-molecule allosteric inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor-2 alpha (HIF-2α). By blocking HIF-2α dimerization with HIF-1β, it suppresses transcription of pro-tumorigenic and pro-angiogenic genes such as VEGF-A and cyclin D1 that drive clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
