Mechanism of Action
OBX-115 is an autologous, genetically engineered tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cell therapy that expresses a membrane-bound, drug-regulated interleukin-15 (IL-15) using Obsidian's cytoDRiVE platform. The engineered IL-15 is controlled by the small molecule acetazolamide, allowing physicians to pharmacologically tune TIL persistence and activity without exogenous high-dose IL-2. This eliminates the toxicity of systemic IL-2 that limits conventional TIL therapy while sustaining T-cell survival and anti-tumor function.
