Mechanism of Action
Therapeutic peptide vaccine composed of a component of the human cytomegalovirus (CMV) pp65 antigen, which is highly expressed in glioma tissue but not normal brain. Administered with tetanus/adjuvant to prime and expand pp65-specific cytotoxic T-cell responses that traffic to and target CMV-antigen-bearing tumor cells.
