Mechanism of Action
Brain-penetrant, orally available small-molecule inhibitor selective for mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (mIDH1, R132 variants). It suppresses production of the oncometabolite D-2-hydroxyglutarate, reversing aberrant DNA/histone hypermethylation and promoting glioma-cell differentiation.
