Mechanism of Action
Orally bioavailable, reversible inhibitor of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1/KDM1A) that blocks both the catalytic demethylase activity and the scaffolding function of LSD1 within the CoREST repressor complex. This restores tumor-suppressor and differentiation gene expression, particularly relevant in myeloid malignancies with aberrant epigenetic silencing.
