Mechanism of Action
Oral small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor with a dual angio-immune mechanism. It inhibits VEGFR1–3 and FGFR1 (blocking tumor angiogenesis) as well as colony-stimulating factor-1 receptor (CSF1R), which modulates tumor-associated macrophages and the immune microenvironment. This combined anti-angiogenic and immunomodulatory activity distinguishes it from pure VEGFR inhibitors in neuroendocrine tumors.
