Vibostolimab — Investigational Agent
TIGIT Inhibitor · Phase 3 · Merck (MSD)
Mechanism of Action
Vibostolimab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the TIGIT receptor on T-cells and NK cells. By blocking the TIGIT-PVR interaction, it enhances the activation of effector immune cells and blocks inhibitory signals. Vibostolimab is often formulated as a co-formulation with pembrolizumab (MK-7684A) to ensure simultaneous delivery and simplify administration. This dual blockade aims to overcome the compensatory upregulation of TIGIT that can occur during PD-1 monotherapy.
